PHOENIX -- In Phoenix, crime is everywhere.

Last year, there were more than 90,000 offenses, reaching every corner of the massive city.

That's why Phoenix police constantly work to find the most dangerous areas.

But besides just crunching numbers and statistics, they also put crimes on a special "hot spots" map to show areas where criminals are striking and were crime is flaring up.

Last year in Phoenix, the hottest spots for violent crimes were:

- Indian School Road at I-17
- Indian School at 51st Avenue
- Indian School at 67th Avenue
- Van Buren and 35th Avenue

And the worst for property crimes:

- Bethany Home and 19th Avenue
- Indian School and 35th Avenue

Police map the city for several different crimes every month.
